They’re Saying Anything at This Point

Tiktok, Instagram, and Facebook alike have become a cesspool of false prophets, faux ministers, and too-tight-of-two-piece-suit-wearing apostles that just need to be stopped.
One genre of Christian TikTok I’ve come to hate is that of the messages promoting the following sentiments—
- “Those people don’t like you? Well that’s because God is in you and they can’t handle it — forget them!”
- “You are who you are and not everyone is blessed, sanctified, or holy enough to see that — forget them!”
- “God’s okay with those choices you make based on your past. If people aren’t, or refuse to understand what you’ve been through, then they’re bad for you anyway — forget them!”
Frankly, this isn’t very salt and light behavior.
The issue with these messages are twofold. They remove all culpability from the subjects declaring them and they present small truths that are wrapped in discreet falsehoods.
